Job description

Robotic Welding Operator

DIHO Consulting USA LLC is seeking an experienced Robotic Welding Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a leading industrial manufacturing client in Brookshire, Texas.

This is a highly technical role responsible for operating, programming, and troubleshooting robotic welding systems used in stainless steel pipe fabrication. The ideal candidate will have hands-on robotic welding experience, strong fabrication knowledge, and the ability to evaluate weld quality and fit-up prior to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, program, and modify robotic welding systems.
  • Create and execute single-pass and multi-pass weld programs.
  • Evaluate fit-up conditions and determine whether joints should be welded, corrected, or rejected.
  • Troubleshoot welding equipment and robotic system issues.
  • Read and interpret spool drawings, weld maps, and welding procedures.
  • Support production quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial welding experience.
  • Proven robotic welding operation and programming experience.
  • Stainless steel welding and fabrication experience.
  • Pipe-fitting and pipe fabrication knowledge.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and welding documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CRP and/or OTC robotic welding systems.
  • Experience with pipe-spool robotic welding applications.
  • Manual GTAW (TIG) and/or GMAW welding experience.
