Description

As a member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a group of highly skilled engineers and scientists to bring new experiences to Apple products. This position requires a self-motivated robotics engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to handle responsibilities include:

Minimum Qualifications
  • MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Math or related field
  • Strong software engineering background
  • Ability to break down large features and implement practical solutions
  • Curiosity about new technologies, flexibility, and openness to ambiguity
  • Strong proficiency with modern ML approaches (LLMs/VLMs/VLAs, Diffusion Models, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency with robot planning / decision making (e.g. reasoning under uncertainty, POMDPs, intent prediction, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency with classical robotic algorithms (optimization, graph search, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the full robotics stack (controls, perception, motion planning, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Swift and Apple developer tools
