Job Description

Apprentice - Operations Technician (OpTech) Program (12-Month In-House Training)

Bosch is now accepting applications for the next apprentice class, starting January 11, 2026. Space is limited.

The Bosch Apprentice program is a 12-month, paid, full-time development program designed to accelerate motivated candidates into Manufacturing Technician roles at the Bosch Charleston facility. This program provides hands-on, in-house technical training exclusively focused on Bosch equipment, processes, and technologies.

Participants will gain real-world experience while learning the fundamentals of automated systems used daily in our manufacturing environment. Training includes structured coursework, qualification cards, labs, job shadowing, and hands-on assignments led by Bosch subject-matter experts.

Apprentices will:

  • Complete a structured 12-month technical training program conducted entirely at Bosch Charleston.
  • Learn mechanical fundamentals relevant to Bosch manufacturing.
  • Complete hands-on projects.
  • Train using Bosch equipment, standards, and processes through labs, qualification cards, and on-the-job learning.
  • Shadow experienced Manufacturing Technicians across multiple departments and product lines.
  • Build the skills needed to troubleshoot, maintain, and support automated production systems.
  • Upon successful completion of the program, transition into a Operations Technician (OpTech) role at Bosch Charleston.
Qualifications
  • Resume required with application.
  • Minimum 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
