Role Overview

CSI is seeking Robotics Engineers to join our growing team. We are seeking candidates with a strong robotics background and exposure to vision systems.

Responsibilities
  • Concept, develop and plan machine robotic automation solutions, to include custom product development when required
  • Conduct feasibility studies and evaluations including the set-up and programming of equipment as well as testing, report writing and presentation
  • Support technical staff at all levels throughout a project. (assessment, design, development, and deployment)
  • Assist with the training and mentoring of technical staff
  • Develop and implement automation applications and solutions using the most current automation hardware and software
  • Primarily responsible for evaluating, testing, and debugging robotic systems
  • Provide technical leadership and daily support as it relates to robotics projects
  • Coordination of details for machine robotic implementation
  • Manufacturing robotics along with electrical design fundamentals
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose any problems with the automation systems
  • Prepare and present technical reports: provide training and documentation development
  • Coordinate the design and implementation of robotic applications, collaborating with project managers, engineering teams and clients to ensure on-time completion of projects deliverables
  • 25% Travel required
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience working with collaborative robots
  • GRS certification required
  • CVP (Certified Vision Professional)- Basic Certification and advanced certification is a plus
  • Comprehensive understanding of robotics with experience in automotive and manufacturing industries including vision systems
  • GM related work experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
