Looking to get started in welding and manufacturing? Join the team at Clow as a Robotic Welding Operator and gain hands-on experience working with advanced welding technology.

This is a great opportunity for someone with basic welding knowledge, mechanical aptitude, or an interest in learning a skilled trade. You'll receive training while operating robotic welding equipment, producing quality metal components used by leading manufacturers.

Shifts Available:

  • Shift 16: 3:00pm – 1:00am, Monday – Thursday (+$1.25/hour shift differential)
  • Shift 21: 6:00am – 6:00pm, Friday - Sunday (+$3.50/hour shift differential)

Starting Rate of Pay:

  • $19.80 per hour base. Relevant experience may increase starting wage up to $20.80 per hour.
What You'll Do
  • Operate robotic welding equipment to weld metal components according to production specifications.
  • Load and unload parts and materials from welding fixtures and machines.
  • Monitor welding operations to ensure consistent quality and production efficiency.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and comparators.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
  • Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, or production delays.
  • Record production activity and job progress using the company's shop floor system.
  • Assist with basic machine setups, fixture changes, and production changeovers as trained.

Requirements

  • 6–12 months of relevant welding experience required
  • Basic math skills for inspections and part quantities
  • Computer proficiency for job sign-in/out and navigating NAV
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and understand inspection requirements
  • Ability to use measurement tools such as height gauges, calipers, micrometers, protractors, and comparators
  • Basic mechanical ability for fixture setup and tear outs

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Lift up to 100lbs occasionally
  • Bend, reach, and handle parts throughout the shift
  • Use hands for press brake operation, tooling setup, and measurement tasks
  • Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
