About the Role:

iCode Cambrian Park is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Junior STEM Instructor to inspire the next generation of innovators in San Jose, CA! In this exciting role, you'll bring coding, technology, and STEM concepts to life for young learners in a fun and engaging environment. If you love working with kids and have a passion for technology and education, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging, hands-on STEM and coding lessons to students of varying age groups and skill levels
  • Guide students through programming concepts, robotics, and technology projects in a classroom setting
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment for all students
  • Assist in curriculum preparation and classroom setup for daily instruction
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
  • Collaborate with senior instructors and staff to continuously improve lesson delivery
  • Maintain classroom safety and ensure all students remain engaged and on task
Requirements:
  • Background or strong interest in STEM fields, computer science, or education
  • Experience working with children or youth in an educational or mentorship setting
  • Basic knowledge of coding languages such as Scratch, Python, or JavaScript is a plus
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
