Robotic Coach information

What is the difference between Robotic Coach vs Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer?

AspectRobotic CoachRobotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer
CredentialsCertifications in coaching, robotics, or automation toolsCertifications in RPA platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere
Work EnvironmentTraining sessions, client consultations, team collaborationSoftware development, coding, process design
Industry UsageEducation, healthcare, enterprise trainingFinance, insurance, customer service automation

While both roles involve automation, a Robotic Coach focuses on training and guiding users in robotic process automation, whereas an RPA Developer designs and implements automation scripts. The Robotic Coach emphasizes coaching skills and user engagement, while the RPA Developer concentrates on technical development and coding.

Is a robotic coach a good career?

A robotic coach is a specialized role that involves developing, programming, and maintaining robotic systems used for coaching or training purposes. It requires skills in robotics, programming, and understanding human-robot interaction, often supported by certifications in robotics or related fields. The career can be promising in industries like education, healthcare, and sports technology, with growth driven by advancements in automation and AI integration.

What does a robotic coach do?

A robotic coach designs, develops, and maintains robotic systems used for training, therapy, or assistance purposes. They may work with artificial intelligence, sensors, and automation tools to create interactive and adaptive robotic solutions for clients or users. The role often requires knowledge of robotics, programming, and human-robot interaction principles.

Job description

Job Description: RPA Developer

Location: Taxes (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

Visa Type: OR

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced RPA Developer for a long-term contract position based onsite in Texas. In this role, you will apply the principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to design, develop, test, and evaluate high-impact automation systems and enterprise applications.

As a senior technical team member, you will build thoughtfully integrated automation systems that allow disparate teams across product domains to deliver value with speed, scale, and reliability. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality workflows, guiding architectural solutions, managing technical debt, and coaching junior engineers on technical craftsmanship.

What You ll Do

  • Automation Architecture & System Integration
  • Design, develop, and implement robust automation applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-driven apps.
  • Build and deploy automated workflows and robotic processes using Power Automate Cloud.
  • Integrate RPA solutions seamlessly with other Microsoft and cloud services, including SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, Forms, and Azure.
  • Design thoughtfully integrated systems that model organizational best practices, allowing disparate teams across product domains to deliver value with speed, scale, and reliability.
  • Consistently anticipate scaling, latency, and durability challenges, and guide teams in the implementation of mitigating strategies.

Technical Craftsmanship & Leadership

  • Write, test, and document technical work products (e.g., automation workflows, scripts, processes) according to strict organizational standards and practices.
  • Solve complex technical problems and build reusable automation components/libraries with far-ranging impact across the organization.
  • Deliver high-quality work and coach junior engineers on technical craftsmanship, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Partner with the security organization to incorporate security-conscious practices early in the lifecycle of new automation systems.
  • Explore emerging automation technologies, lead the development of prototypes with little or no guidance, and incorporate them into architectural solutions where appropriate.

Process & Delivery Excellence

  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify systemic problems in existing automations, and define and lead the execution of corrective action items.
  • Oversee the management of technical debt in existing systems and drive opportunities to eliminate it within ongoing implementations.
  • Thoughtfully evaluate technical risks and guide teams toward practical prevention strategies.
  • Consistently reflect on squad delivery practices throughout your span of influence, recommend improvements to leadership, and drive their implementation.
  • Maintain a focus on removing the duplication of effort across teams and proactively identify opportunities for workflow reuse.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating business workflows into functional automated solutions.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

  • Total Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software and automation development experience.
  • Power Platform & Automation Expertise: At least 3 years of dedicated experience developing solutions using Power Apps (Canvas/Model-driven) and Power Automate Cloud.
  • Environment Management: Proven experience deploying Power Apps and Power Automate Cloud flows using Solutions across multiple environments (Dev, Test, Prod).
  • Data & Storage: At least 3 years of experience working with SharePoint, Dataverse, or any major relational database.
  • SDLC Lifecycle: Deep knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from business/systems analysis and requirements gathering through functional specification authoring, to development, testing, and delivery.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong ability to troubleshoot workflow failures, perform root cause analysis, and make system changes to ensure high performance and responsiveness of digital workers.

Soft Skills & Core Competencies

  • Collaboration: 3 years of experience working both independently and collaboratively in an agile team environment.
  • Leadership & Assessment: Ability to thoughtfully measure and assess team practices, identifying areas of development for individuals.
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills to translate manual business processes into technical specifications and create clear technical documentation for implemented solutions.

Education

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a highly relevant field is required.
