Job description

The Creative Marketing Manager brings the Roam brand to life through compelling content, thoughtful campaigns, and consistent brand communication. This hands‑on role owns key creative channels, including social media, graphic design, email, SMS, and photography, while serving as a strategic marketing partner to Roam’s workplaces and sales team.

About Roam Co, LLC

Designed to reinspire work and meetings, Roam is a comprehensive work, meet and office solution with eight locations in Metro Atlanta, one in Dallas, TX, and one in Greenville, SC. Month‑to‑month memberships, private offices and technology‑equipped meeting rooms accommodating 2 to 275 people allow small businesses and large corporations alike to work productively and with flexibility in design‑enhanced environments. Our story is centered on a counter‑cultural approach to business and a people‑first mentality that’s activated in our desire to partner with stakeholders through the delivery of hospitality for the purpose of impacting lives.

Description

The ideal Creative Marketing Manager is equal parts creative storyteller, strategic thinker, and hands‑on executor. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this person will bring the Roam brand to life across digital and physical touchpoints through thoughtful content, compelling campaigns, and consistent brand communication. Creative and content‑driven, they will take meaningful ownership of Roam's social media, graphic design photography, email, and SMS marketing while partnering with the Senior Director of Marketing to bring broader company‑wide strategies to life.

As a self‑starter, the ideal candidate takes initiative, manages multiple projects and shifting priorities effectively, and cares deeply about producing thoughtful, high‑quality work. They are creative and innovative, naturally seeing opportunities instead of problems, and meeting challenges with energy, curiosity and optimism. Equally energized by developing new ideas and seeing them through to final execution, this person combines imagination with strong organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through. They enjoy the process of creating something from nothing and have fun bringing new concepts, campaigns, and strategies to life.

An engaging and thoughtful communicator, the ideal candidate works confidently and resourcefully on their own while remaining eager to share ideas and collaborate with others. They will serve as the lead marketing partner for all Roam workplaces, building trusted relationships, and translating company priorities and local opportunities into focused, location‑specific strategies.

Hospitality is central to how this person approaches their work. They consider how every message, design, campaign, and interaction can make people feel seen, welcomed and cared for, activating Roam's commitment to hospitality across each brand touchpoint. Motivated to learn and grow both personally and professionally, this person is energized by the opportunity to strengthen the Roam brand, support the people around them, and help more people discover and experience Roam.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Content and Brand Ownership

  • Steward Roam's brand across every touchpoint, ensuring a consistent voice, visual identity, and people-centered guest experience.
  • Own creative content from concept through execution, including copy for email, SMS, social media, website, marketing materials, and internal communications.
  • Lead the design of digital and print assets using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, and oversee brand photography and videography through direct content creation or creative partners.
  • Manage the content calendar and coordinate multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Provide creative and marketing support across the Roam Co. portfolio, including Sequel Coffee Co. and Roam Workplace Solutions.

Social Media

  • Lead Roam's social media strategy and execution, including planning, content creation, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
  • Create platform‑specific content that builds brand awareness, strengthens connection, and inspires meaningful action.
  • Monitor performance, audience insights, and trends to refine strategy and engage Roam's online community in a timely, brand‑aligned manner.

Email and SMS Marketing

  • Own email and SMS strategy and execution, including content planning, copywriting, design, and performance review.
  • Use Roam's CRM (Hubspot) to manage audience segments, execute campaigns, and build relevant lead and client‑nurturing journeys.
  • Partner with sales, internal stakeholders, and Hubspot Success Manager to maintain accurate marketing data and apply channel insights to improve engagement and conversion.

Website and Digital Marketing

  • Manage website content, page edits, and design improvements, ensuring a current, accurate, and engaging digital experience.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen SEO and Google Ads strategies.

Workplace Marketing Partner

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner for Roam workplaces, building strong relationships and a consistent rhythm of collaboration with local teams.
  • Identify opportunities, alongside workplace leaders, to strengthen location awareness, engagement, programming and sales.
  • Equip workplace teams with the messaging, creative assets, and tools needed to confidently promote their spaces, events and offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on campaigns, giveaways, seasonal offerings and packages that support lead generation, client nurturing, sales growth, and an enhanced client experience.
  • Develop the messaging, creative assets and strategies needed to promote Roam's offerings, and maximize client spend and experience.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 Years experience in marketing, brand management, social media management or a related creative role, with a portfolio of relevant work.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across audiences and channels.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media strategy, content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
  • Experience developing and executing email newsletters, SMS campaigns, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience working in a CRM to manage audiences, support campaign execution, and contribute to lead or client‑nurturing efforts.
  • Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
  • Experience editing website content and working within a content management system.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, Google Ads and digital marketing performance metrics.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and move multiple initiatives forward at once.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and solutions‑oriented approach to working across teams and locations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing thoughtful, high‑quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Photography and videography experience, including shooting, editing, and preparing content for digital channels.
  • Experience working in HubSpot.
  • Experience marketing hospitality, coworking, or experience‑driven brands.
  • Experience partnering with sales teams and supporting multi‑location marketing efforts.
