Your Role

As the Operations Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in overseeing daily hotel operations, with primary responsibility for housekeeping and cleanliness standards across the property. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences through operational excellence, team leadership, and accountability for cleanliness, efficiency, and service delivery. This role serves as a key operational leader, bridging departmental execution and property-wide performance. You will lead housekeeping operations while supporting overall hotel performance, labor management, guest satisfaction, and team development. 

This role is ideal for someone with a strong housekeeping leadership background who is ready to expand their operational impact and grow into senior hotel leadership. 

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments
  • Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet brand and company cleanliness standards
  • Conduct routine room and property inspections to ensure quality and consistency
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop housekeeping team members
  • Monitor labor productivity, staffing levels, and operational efficiency
  • Manage departmental inventory, including linens, supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, MSDS requirements, and company policies
  • Address guest concerns promptly in partnership with the General Manager
  • Assist in monitoring labor costs, departmental performance, and operational effectiveness
  • Lead by example to foster a culture aligned with Resolute Road Hospitality's core values
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of team members across operational departments
  • Help coach and develop team members to support performance and growth
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and operational procedures
  • Respond to guest and team member concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Uphold Resolute Road Hospitality policies, procedures, and appearance standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and safety standards
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
  • Understanding of labor management, scheduling, and operational efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast paced environment

  • Comfortable using computer systems, scheduling software, and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and brand standards preferred

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of hospitality experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of housekeeping leadership required
  • Previous Housekeeping Manager or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Hotel operations leadership experience preferred
