What You'll Be Doing:
Here at BridgePoint, the RN Nurse Manager is responsible for the overall direction and supervision of patient care activities and nursing personnel of a nursing unit. The RN Nurse Manager consults with staff, physicians, and Chief Clinical Officer on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. The RN Nurse Manager ensures nursing staff follows policy and procedures, participates in the investigation and preparation of reports. The RN Nurse Manager ensures adequate staffing for nursing units. The RN Nurse Manager has authority and responsibility for implementing the Standards of Nursing Practice related to all nursing care areas and functions. The RN Nurse Manager acts as the administrative representative in the absence of Chief Clinical Officer.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Nursing of health related field preferred.
Licenses/Certification: Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia. BCLS and ACLS Certification required.
Experience: Minimum three years' leadership in all aspects of medical surgical nursing. Minimum two years' supervisory experience preferred. Critical Care experience preferred.
