Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Fertility RN Nurse Coordinator/Fertility OR/PACU RN to join our team at RMA of New York in Mount Kisco, New York.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, from either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, or 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM Eastern Time; two weekends Saturday and Sunday every 4 to 8 weeks and two holidays per year
  • Compensation: $92,000 to $99,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Fertility RN Nurse Coordinator/Fertility OR/PACU RN will:

  • Assist with the coordination, case management, and treatment of fertility patients
  • Monitor patients throughout treatment plans, providing direction and education
  • Communicate physician orders and instructions, as well as laboratory results with appropriate interpretation and explanation
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients and their families
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records
  • Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
  • Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
  • Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received IV sedation. conscious sedation
  • Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
  • Provide patient education

Qualifications and Skills Include:

  • RN required; BSN preferred
  • Current state RN license without limitations required
  • IVF/Fertility experience and background in women's health preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload of patients

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong customer service and results oriented, highly responsive to requests
