What is an RMA nurse?

RMA nurses, or Registered Medical Assistants, are healthcare professionals who support physicians and nurses in clinical settings. They perform a variety of tasks such as taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with examinations, and managing medical records. They must complete an accredited medical assisting program and pass a certification exam to earn the RMA credential.
