Hiring Range: $151.00- $189.00 per hour

Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance

Location:MD Express Urgent Care - Williamsburg, Yorktown, Newport News, Hampton, Gloucester
Employment Type:Full-Time, Part-Time, and Labor Pool

In this role, you will provide care topatients of all ages, including infants, children, teens, and adults, in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

MD Express Urgent Care centers are open7 days a week from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, offering accessible, high-quality care for a wide range of medical needs. Our providers rotate across five locations: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Newport News, Hampton, and Gloucester.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum ofillnesses, injuries, and urgent care needs, including:

Illnesses

• Cough & Cold, Flu, COVID-19
• Allergies, Asthma, Pneumonia
• Dehydration, Sinus Infections, Viruses
• Gastrointestinal Ailments, Sore Throat
• Urinary Tract Infections, Gynecological Complaints
• Ear, Eye, and Bronchial Infections

Injuries

• Fractures, Sprains, Strains
• Lacerations, Burns, Abrasions
• Animal Bites, Sports Injuries, Falls
• Eye & Ear Injuries, Foreign Body Removal

Physicals & Screenings

• Sports Physicals
• STD Screenings
• Urine Drug Screens
• Workers' Compensation Evaluations

Minor Procedures & Vaccinations

• Minor Surgical Procedures
• Vaccinations: PPD, Tetanus, Tdap, Meningococcal, Hepatitis B

• Excellent clinical judgment and discretion
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
• Friendly, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a positive attitude
• Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve routine issues

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Licensure & Certification:

• Current or eligible Virginia medical license
• Valid DEA controlled substance registration
• Meet comprehensive professional standards
