Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Neurologist.

Practice Highlights:

  • Join a well-established Neurology practice to work alongside 2 experienced physicians and 3 APPs

  • Ability to practice in preferred sub-specialty area based on training and interests

  • Strong primary care referral network with minimal local competition in Neurology allowing ease to grow your practice

  • Primary Stroke Center and Tele-neurology services available 24/7

  • Hospital privileges with Riverside Medical Center a community hospital with 300 beds. Opportunity for privileges at Rush University Medical Center for high acuity clinical care.

  • Research opportunities and teaching with a faculty appointment at Rush University may be available for consideration.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Outpatient Clinical Care with rotating practice call with assistance of Tele-Stroke services

  • Flexible schedule Monday-Friday

  • Manageable patient volume allowing for strong work-life balance

Notes and Qualifications:

  • Experience is appreciated but not required as we are open to recent graduates

  • The ideal candidate is a team-oriented, friendly, and ambitious individual

  • MD or DO Degree

  • Candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

  • Valid Illinois medical licensure (or ability to obtain IL Medical License)

  • Valid Illinois Controlled Substances License (or ability to obtain IL License)

The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Pay Range: $326,000 - $430,000
