AZULU is a luxury fashion brand proudly designed and manufactured in Colombia. Renowned for exceptional craftsmanship, intricate embroidery, and timeless resort collections, the brand combines modern silhouettes with artisanal techniques and premium natural fabrics.

With retail operations in Colombia and the United States, and a wholesale presence in more than 20 countries worldwide, AZULU continues to expand internationally while maintaining an unwavering commitment to quality, creativity, and exceptional customer experience.

AZULU is seeking an experienced

to lead its U.S. flagship boutique at Aventura Mall.

This position extends well beyond traditional store management. The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the boutique, leading the team, driving sales, developing client relationships, maintaining operational excellence, and serving as the primary liaison between the U.S. operation and upper management.

This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader who thrives in luxury retail, enjoys taking ownership of a business, and is passionate about developing both people and results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all day-to-day boutique operations.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Drive sales performance while achieving monthly and annual business objectives.
  • Build and cultivate a strong VIP clientele through exceptional clienteling and relationship selling.
  • Monitor and improve key business metrics, including sales, payroll, conversion, average transaction value (AOV), units per transaction (UPT), CRM capture, and inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure exceptional visual merchandising and execution of brand standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, transfers, cycle counts, and loss prevention.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business reports with insights and action plans.
  • Partner with marketing and e-commerce teams to support events, product launches, and omnichannel initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with upper management to execute company strategies and business initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in luxury, premium, or contemporary fashion retail.
  • Proven success managing high-performing boutiques and consistently exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong clienteling experience with the ability to build long‑term customer relationships.
  • Experience recruiting, coaching, and developing successful retail teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing sales reports and implementing business action plans.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with Shopify POS or comparable retail management systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and retail reporting tools.
  • Fluency in English is required; Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods as needed.
What We\'re Looking For

We\'re looking for someone who thinks beyond the sales floor.

The ideal candidate is a confident leader who takes ownership, makes sound business decisions, develops people, embraces accountability, and consistently delivers an exceptional luxury customer experience. This individual should be comfortable working independently while maintaining close communication with upper management and helping drive the continued growth of AZULU in the United States.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Performance‑based bonus opportunities.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Employee discount on AZULU products.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities.
  • The opportunity to play a key leadership role within a growing international luxury fashion brand.
