Job description

Come join the ONELIFE Senior Living team! We are looking for compassionate and dedicated team members with a common purpose of making a difference in the lives of seniors.

The Esther at Riverbend Assisted Living, located in Springfield, OR is seeking a dedicated and friendly Dining Room Server to provide an extraordinary dining experience for the residents in our community.

Responsibilities of the Dining Room Server

  • Responsible for front of house dining experience; serving, clearing, cleaning, and resident assistance with food selection and table service.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to the Community’s residents and guests.
  • Occasional plating and/or tasting of food before it goes out of kitchen to ensure food quality meets expectations.
  • Deliver room service trays as needed.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
  • Adheres to proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
  • Ensure residents are provided with privacy, respect, and dignity.
  • Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
  • Completes state required training upon hire and annually.

Required Experience

  • Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Food Handler Certification
  • Senior Living experience a preferred.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
