Looking for a job where no two days are the same?


KL ~ On The River is seeking dependable, hardworking Campground Rangers to help operate and maintain our family-owned campground on the beautiful Guadalupe River.


This is a hands-on outdoor position that combines guest services, campground operations, groundskeeping, property monitoring, cleaning, and light maintenance. We are looking for team members who enjoy staying active, working outdoors, solving problems, and helping create a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.


What You'll Do
  • Guest assistance and customer service
  • Campground patrols and property monitoring
  • Traffic and parking assistance
  • Rule enforcement and quiet-hour monitoring
  • Assisting arrivals and departures
  • Maintaining a safe, family-friendly environment
  • Preparing the campground for incoming guests
  • Mowing, weed-eating, edging, and groundskeeping
  • Trash pickup and campsite preparation
  • Fire pit cleaning and maintenance
  • Restroom and shower facility cleaning
  • Landscaping and property improvement projects
  • Light repairs and facility maintenance


What We're Looking For

Physical Requirements

This is an active outdoor position, not a desk job.


Applicants must be able to:

  • Work outdoors during Texas summers, including high temperatures and varying weather conditions
  • Walk varying distances throughout the campground
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical labor
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance when required
  • Safely operate lawn equipment, power tools, and maintenance equipment

Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check
  • Employees may be subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy
  • Weekend and holiday availability required
