Sr. Program Manager

The Program Manager operates as a strategic partner to C-level executives, ensuring the collective program delivers anticipated business outcomes, value realization, and foundational capabilities for the client. The strategic management includes partnering with the Architecture and PASA delivery leads and the Account team. The Program Manager will be responsible for working across the account to assist in identifying new opportunities within the account and assisting the team in following through on the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, monitor, and ensure the realization of program-level business outcomes (e.g., Time-to-Market reduction, OpEx savings, security posture improvement) linked to the VCF investment, moving beyond simple on-time/on-budget project delivery.
  • Set up and lead the Program Steering Committee and C-level Executive Readouts, presenting a holistic view of program health, strategic alignment, and key risks.
  • Oversee the strategic sequencing and interdependence of multiple VCF projects/workstreams, managing the program timeline, resources, and risk register
  • Own the program-level financial forecast, budget allocation across projects, and multi-year profitability and revenue recognition strategy. Manage the consolidated financial reporting and business case adherence.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between client C-Suite/Business Unit Owners and the delivery organization, ensuring the program's technical scope aligns with evolving corporate strategy and market conditions.
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic, political, and financial risks that threaten program viability or outcome realization. Establish governance mechanisms for high-stakes decision-making and critical escalations.
  • Manage the strategic engagement, performance, and commercial relationship with Broadcom partners involved in the program, ensuring their contributions integrate seamlessly and meet quality standards.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years experience leading large-scale IT Program Management or managing a portfolio of interdependent technology projects.
  • 5+ years of experience directly managing major cloud, infrastructure, or platform modernization programs (e.g., VCF, private/hybrid cloud, data center consolidation).
  • Executive Communication: Exceptional ability to craft and deliver complex program narratives, financials, and risk profiles to C-level and non-technical executive audiences.
  • Program Governance Expertise: Proven experience establishing and running a formal Program Steering Committee and financial governance body.
  • Financial Acumen: Advanced skills in program-level financial management, forecasting, profitability analysis, and value realization tracking.
  • Program Frameworks: Demonstrated expertise in recognized frameworks (e.g., MSP, PMI-PgMP, SAFe, or Agile Program Management).
  • VMware Ecosystem: Deep familiarity with the strategic value and components of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and the nuances of VMware professional service delivery
