Position Summary... What you'll do...About the Role The Manager, Technology Operations leads the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology and operational initiatives that support Walmart Marketplace's Seller Risk organization. This role partners cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Data Science, and Business teams to drive scalable solutions that improve marketplace integrity, operational efficiency, and business outcomes. Success in this role requires strong program management, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and risk assessment skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, using data to influence decisions, and leading initiatives that improve processes, technology, and operational performance. About the Team The Seller Risk organization protects Walmart Marketplace by developing technology, processes, and operational capabilities that enable trusted sellers while preventing fraud, abuse, and compliance risks. The team works across strategy, operations, product, engineering, data science, and risk to improve seller onboarding, monitoring, and marketplace health through scalable, data-driven solutions. What You'll Do
  • Lead multiple cross-functional technology and operational initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Define project goals, timelines, deliverables, risks, and resource needs while ensuring alignment to strategic business priorities.
  • Monitor program health through reporting, dashboards, and key performance metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze operational and technology data to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities that inform business decisions.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and other stakeholders to develop scalable solutions that improve marketplace performance.
  • Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and business insights to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Drive process improvements, operational excellence, and governance across technology programs.
  • Support financial planning, forecasting, and resource management for assigned initiatives.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across teams.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience leading medium- to large-scale technology, operations, or program management initiatives.
  • Strong program and project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability with experience using data to solve business problems and influence decisions.
  • Experience building executive-ready reporting, dashboards, or business insights using tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience driving process improvements, operational excellence, and scalable business solutions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance technology, operations, and risk considerations.
  • Experience working in eCommerce, marketplaces, trust & safety, fraud, risk, compliance, or other technology-driven environments is preferred.
