Job Description

Equinox is seeking a high-energy individual with strong quantitative and communication skills to join our Risk Management team. In this role, you will act as a key partner across all Equinox Group companies, leveraging data to pinpoint trends, evaluate performance, and mitigate risk. You will transform complex datasets into actionable insights that protect our assets and shape our long-term strategic roadmap.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a team that is evolving and will grow over time.  This position is based out of our NYC headquarters in Hudson Yards and Park Avenue.

Responsibilities

Risk Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Manage Data Integrity: Clean, format, and validate large datasets using rigorous quality control to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate Insights: Analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable recommendations that support risk and insurance strategies.
  • Communication: Synthesize findings into high-level presentations that translate data into clear, strategic narratives for leadership and business partners.

Insurance Program Management:

  • Support the annual renewal of corporate insurance policies including property, casualty, management liability, cyber, etc.      
  • Report claims under insurance policies, update claim summaries and claims handling instructions.                                                                                             
  • Update webpage, SOPs and other risk management documents.                       
  • Build strong relationships with business partners, brokers, underwriters and claims teams.        
  • Participate in insurance industry events.
  • Proactively identify and automate manual workflows to increase team efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in a quantitative discipline: Statistics, Finance, Business, Economics or other related field
  • 3-5 years of work experience
  • Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint, PowerBI
  • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to extract insights from large, complex datasets
  • Ability to present information in a digestible, actionable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational skills
  • Eagerness to learn with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in insurance, consumer or retail industries is a plus
  • Exercises good judgment, a problem solver and a team player that excels in a dynamic environment

Pay Transparency: Min $85k - Max $95k
