Hospitalist/Nocturnist Physician Opportunity

Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for a Hospitalist/Nocturnist Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Raleigh, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team-based approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience individualized and meaningful. Experienced physicians and residents are encouraged to apply! Also, looking for physicians that want part-time hours.

About the Practice:

The clinical team consists of 8 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners. The practice has been serving women in the Raleigh Metro area for about 50 years. All deliveries and GYN surgeries are done at the University of North Carolina Rex Hospital in Raleigh (UNC Rex). UNC Rex is a top-notch facility that has a Level 4 NICU unit, women's health subspecialist physicians, and the da Vinci robotic system for specialized GYN surgical procedures. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an excellent group of physicians in a growing area and a great hospital system. Looking for a physician who wants to work a few hospital call shifts per week and focus their career on Labor & Delivery.

Practice Highlights:

  • Hospital shifts will be at the University of North Carolina Rex Hospital in Raleigh. UNC Rex has a Level 4 NICU unit, women's health subspecialist physicians, and the Da Vinci robotic system for major surgical procedures.
  • Full-time position of 2-3 14-hour call shifts per week. 1 weekend of call per month.
  • Option to do call from home.
  • Hospitalist can expect to perform about 20-25 deliveries per month.
  • Strong group of physicians that can provide assistance and backup to hospitalist.
  • Group malpractice coverage.
  • Call is shared with another practice group.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • $30K commencement and $30K retention bonus.
