VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Logistician III

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience:

  • Seven (7) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes.
  • Experience shall include at least four (4) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.
  • Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Proficient at utilizing operational inventory management software tools to verify existing inventory levels and generate accurate and automated reports.
  • They will also automate logistic reporting as necessary using these software suites to ensure efficient and real-time inventory monitoring. 
  • The candidate should be familiar with the following government toolsets and applications: CMpro, Riptide, NDE, JIRA, CDMD-OA, and MBPS.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:   

Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Foundational/Level 2; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional two (2) year (i.e., total 9 years minimum experience) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics. 

Job Description:

Seeking a logistician to support U.S. Navy programs by reviewing technical documentation, managing logistics data, and coordinating sustainment activities. Responsibilities include tracking program deliverables, maintaining logistics records, and supporting configuration and lifecycle management for shipboard systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Maintain and update logistics tracking spreadsheets, databases, and status reports.
  • Track action items, deliverables, and milestones to support program execution.
  • Review technical documentation, provisioning data, configuration management records, and logistics products.
  • Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with government, contractor, and configuration management personnel.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of logistics documentation, including provisioning packages, installation documentation, and equipment inventories.
  • Monitor and report logistics metrics, risks, and issues to program management.
  • Support fleet sustainment efforts and equipment readiness initiatives.
  • Participate in program reviews, working groups, and logistics meetings.

Essential Duties of the Job:

  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
