Rigger and Signal Person
The Opportunity:

Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer focused engineering solution.
As a Systems Engineer on our team, you have the chance to design Radio Frequency (RF) technical program requirements for operational airframes, aircraft, vehicles, weapon systems and Controlled, Contested Environment (CCE) tests and experiments . In this position, you will set up and mount RF communications technologies, antennas, and related test equipment on towers, using appropriate access methods such as manlifts or fixed ladders equipped with required safety systems. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize RF environments. Join our team and help turn requirements into accomplishments that drive change.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience rigging and operating heavy equipment
  • Experience with working with mobile cranes to lift large objects into position and removal
  • Knowledge of hand signals, rigging gear, inspection, and proper use
  • Ability to ascend and descend up to 120 feet
  • Ability to perform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment
  • Ability to obtain a Class A CDL
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Rigger or Signal Person Certification

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working with a forklift on Telehandlers up to 12,000 lbs
  • Experience with welding
  • Experience with fabrication
  • Experience working on overhead cranes
  • Ability to read and work off blueprints
  • Mobile elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Certification
  • Forklift training Certification
  • Fall Protection training Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
