Job description

Seeking NCCCO or NCCER Riggers for our Beaumont, TX location.
Allegiance Crane & Equipment a top employer in the crane industry! We are looking for full-time hard-working, team players to join our team in Beaumont, TX.

  • Signals or gives direction to workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials
  • Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps
  • Dismantles, maintains and stores rigging equipment
  • Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting and lifting
  • Utilize proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load, including hand signals for the safe operation of the crane.

REQUIREMENTS
  • NCCCO or NCCER certification required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Minimum 1 year prior experience rigging cranes or similar equipment
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Professional communication skill to be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, stoop, climb, and move about shop and equipment. Heavy physical effort required. Must be able to lift up to 75 lb. Will regularly be exposed to noise, heat, dust, and fumes around job sites and yard. Extreme weather conditions possible, at times. Must be able to drive a vehicle for local travel.
