What are the typical work conditions and daily responsibilities for a rigger helper?

Rigger Helpers typically work outdoors or in industrial environments like construction sites, shipyards, or warehouses, often exposed to varying weather and noisy conditions. Job description

ETCP Certified Rigger / Rigging Division Lead

Boonton, NJ - Full-time

Job Type: Full-time (Mon to Fri)

Work Location: In Person (Boonton, NJ)

PureTek Group is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced ETCP-certified rigger to help launch and lead our new Rigging Division.

Have you ever wanted to build and run your own division — with the support of an established company behind you — without taking on all the financial risk, administrative burden, and overhead of starting from scratch?

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than just another rigging job. We are looking for a leader who wants to help shape the future of a growing company while having access to the full support of our operations, engineering, technical, and marketing teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Build systems, processes, and eventually your own team
  • Perform rigging inspections and field work during the startup phase
  • Bid takeoffs and estimates
  • Design drawings & submittals
  • Work closely with our marketing team to help increase workload and market presence
  • Collaborate with our engineering and technical teams on complex projects
  • Help establish PureTek as a trusted name in entertainment and production rigging
  • Lead the development and growth of our brand new rigging division
What We’re Looking For
  • Candidates actively pursuing ETCP certification will also be considered if they have a clear and realistic plan to obtain it
  • Strong knowledge of rigging systems and inspection standards
  • Leadership mentality with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Someone motivated to grow a division, not just fill a position
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with company leadership and support teams
What Makes This Opportunity Different

You will be leading the charge, but you will not be doing it alone.

PureTek will provide:

  • Administrative support
  • Engineering and technical resources
  • Marketing support to help generate business
  • Operational infrastructure
  • Existing company relationships and resources

This is a unique chance to build something significant with the backing of an established company.

Compensation

Compensation is completely dependent on what you bring to the table. We are open to discussing:

  • Salary or performance-based structures
  • Partnership opportunities
  • Long-term growth incentives
  • Additional benefits and compensation packages
  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off

PureTek Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We extend equal opportunity to all individuals without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, age, genetic information, or any other status protected under applicable federal, state, or local laws.
