RIB Software is seeking a motivated, consultative, and results-driven Strategic Account Manager to join our North American Strategic Sales team.

In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers, expanding existing strategic accounts, and driving long-term revenue growth within an assigned territory. You'll work closely with senior business leaders to understand their strategic objectives, identify business challenges, and position RIB’s software solutions to deliver measurable value. This position requires a proactive sales professional who is equally comfortable developing new opportunities through outbound prospecting as they are managing complex sales opportunities through discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and close. As a quota-carrying individual contributor, you’ll play a key role in helping RIB continue its growth while building long-term relationships with some of the industry's most important organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through discovery, solution presentation, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Develop new business opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting, account planning, networking, and referrals.
  • Expand existing customer relationships by identifying opportunities for additional solutions and long‑term partnership growth.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers and key stakeholders across customer organizations.
  • Conduct consultative discovery meetings to understand customer objectives, business processes, and operational challenges.
  • Deliver compelling software demonstrations and business presentations tailored to each customer's unique needs.
  • Develop account strategies that align customer priorities with RIB's portfolio of solutions.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, opportunity forecasts, and customer activity within Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, and Sales Leadership throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to support product innovation and go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive solutions, and evolving customer needs.
  • Represent RIB Software at customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and other industry events.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives.
Qualifications – Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five or more years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably selling SaaS or technology solutions.
  • Proven success managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently to senior business leaders.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and modern sales engagement tools.
Qualifications – Preferred
  • Experience selling software solutions into construction, architecture, engineering, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Experience managing strategic or named accounts.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience navigating complex buying processes involving multiple stakeholders.
