Job Description

Position Title: RFID Implementation Engineer/Service Engineer
Location: Ft Lauderdale, FL
Local Required: Strongly Preferred (local candidates will be considered first)
Duration: 3 month contract-to-hire
Interview Type: phone + F2F



Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

  • Valid/Active Passport
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the US, Canada, and Mexico for client deployments and support
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5+ years' experience as a Network Engineer with high level knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with:
    • Computers
    • Operating systems
    • Software (Microsoft Windows, iOS and Android platform, web browsers, and proprietary)
    • Computer hardware and hardware peripherals (servers, networking and serial communications equipment, and proprietary hardware)
  • Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure and networks, and Linux operating system and commands
  • Strong knowledge of iOS and Android including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the iOS and Android platform
  • Scripting experience including but not limited to:
    • Python
    • Window's PowerShell
    • SQL
    • Mongo DB
    • AWS CLI (Command Line Interface)
  • Ability to study blueprints, schematics, manuals, survey results, and specifications to determine installation procedures
  • Experience with networking protocols and concepts including:
    • VPN
    • Routing
    • Ports
    • TCP/IP
    • Network analysis tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present and position solutions to customers
