Forklift Operator – Field Distribution (Warehouse)

Arlington, TX (Onsite)
 

Shift & Schedule

  • Schedule: Sunday – Saturday (assigned workdays)

  • Hours: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

  • 40 hours/week

  • 30-minute lunch break

  • Overtime: As required

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to support field distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of forklift experience, including stand-up (Reach/Dock Stocker) operation, strong RF scanner experience, and a stable employment history within warehouse environments. This role is physically demanding and requires consistent standing, walking, lifting, and attention to safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently

  • Pick, receive, ship, and fulfill orders using RF scanning devices

  • Unbox copiers and remove packaging materials

  • Load and unload LTL, TL trailers, and delivery vans

  • Palletize, consolidate stock, and optimize warehouse space

  • Perform cycle counts, QA inspections, and inventory accuracy checks

  • Inspect inbound and outbound freight for accuracy and damage

  • Complete daily forklift inspection checklists and report equipment issues

  • Follow C-TPAT compliance, warehouse security, and safety procedures

  • Maintain 5S standards and a clean, safe work environment

  • Cross-train and support other warehouse functions as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3–5 years of forklift experience (minimum requirement)

  • At least 1 year of stand-up forklift experience (Reach and/or Dock Stocker)

  • Prior forklift certification (Reach, Dock Stocker, or Sit-Down)

  • RF scanner experience required

  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience

  • Strong math, reading comprehension, and basic written communication skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly (team lift required for heavier items)
