Job description

FLSA: Salaried Exempt

The Business Development Manager - NortheastCommercial leads commercial product sales across the EasternUnited States and is responsible for developing key accounts, managing a network of independent sales representatives, and coordinating with cross-functional direct sales teams in the region to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive new business development sales growth of commercial products.
  • Direct key account development and sales responsibility.
  • Develop and manage a sales rep network along with supporting a family of distributors.
  • Coordinate with a team of other complimentary direct sales managers in the region.
  • Collaborate with engineering on product design.
  • Manage expectations between customers and the company on lead times, expedites, and availability.
  • Provide forecasting, manage pipelines within CRM tools, participate in budgeting.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on business management, operations or engineering management preferred
  • Minimum 5-years' experience in outside sales environment
  • RF/Technical sales preferred.
  • Account knowledge in RF Applications and Semiconductor, Medical, Telecommunications (Mobile, LMR, Private Networks), IoT, Microwave / Point-to-Point, High Power Microwave, Industrial & Transportation (Rail) markets
  • Familiar with managing a sales rep network and working with distribution partners
  • Experience with RF interconnect products, coaxial cable &/or related products
  • Basic technical competence – comfortable discussing technical requirements such as RF electrical specs and mechanical requirements
  • Located within the region to support sales activity
