Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Total Rewards Manager to lead the analysis, design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programs across the U.S. and Canada. This strategic individual contributor serves as a trusted advisor to HR and senior leadership, using data and workforce analytics to connect total rewards investment with talent attraction, retention, pay equity, and business outcomes. This Total Rewards Manager role will have a large emphasis on compensation focused projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead compensation and benefits analytics, benchmarking, dashboards, workforce reporting, and executive-ready insights.
  • Analyze large HR, payroll, market, and benefits datasets to forecast costs, identify trends, and measure program effectiveness.
  • Support salary structures, pay ranges, job evaluations, market pricing, compensation philosophy, and annual compensation cycles.
  • Conduct pay equity analyses, including regression modeling, remediation scenarios, and cost-impact analysis.
  • Build financial models for base pay, short-term incentives, benefits funding, and cost-benefit scenarios.
  • Support health, welfare, retirement, and wellbeing benefits strategy, plan design, renewals, benchmarking, and vendor management.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, HRBPs, brokers, vendors, and senior leadership on Total Rewards strategy and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable pay transparency, minimum wage, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA requirements.
  • Leverage Workday, HRIS, Excel, analytics, automation, AI, and machine-learning tools to improve reporting and decision-making.
  • Develop clear compensation and benefits communications and support executive and investor-level reporting.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; CCP, CEBS, CBP, or SHRM certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive compensation and benefits/Total Rewards experience.
  • Experience with salary benchmarking, compensation structures, annual cycles, benefits design, pay equity, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced Excel and HRIS/HCM experience, including Workday preferred.
  • Strong analytical, data modeling, consulting, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with large, multi-source datasets and executive reporting.
  • Senior living, hospitality, or service industry experience preferred.

Pay Range:
108,080.00 - 135,100.00
