What is Revtech?

Revtech, short for Revenue Technology, refers to the software, tools, and strategies that organizations use to optimize and manage their revenue generation processes. This typically includes platforms for sales automation, customer relationship management (CRM), marketing automation, pricing optimization, and analytics. Revtech professionals help businesses increase efficiency, improve sales performance, and maximize revenue by leveraging data-driven technologies. They often work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to implement and refine these systems.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Revenue Technology (RevTech) Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a RevTech Specialist, you need a solid understanding of sales operations, CRM management, data analysis, and a background in business or information technology. Familiarity with platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, marketing automation tools, and relevant certifications (such as Salesforce Administrator) is often required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for collaborating across departments. These competencies ensure seamless integration of technology with revenue processes, driving business growth and operational efficiency.

How does a Revtech professional typically collaborate with sales, marketing, and IT teams to improve revenue processes?

Revtech professionals play a key role in bridging the gap between sales, marketing, and IT departments by implementing and optimizing technology solutions that streamline revenue operations. They often facilitate regular meetings, gather feedback from each team, and ensure data flows seamlessly between platforms like CRMs and marketing automation tools. This collaboration helps identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and create unified reporting, enabling all teams to make data-driven decisions. Effective communication and a strong understanding of each department's objectives are essential for success in this role.

Why We're Hiring This Role
As Vapi scales rapidly toward our next phase of growth, the Revenue Operations team is helping to build a world-class revenue engine. We are hiring a GTM Engineer to bridge strategy and execution for our customer-facing employees. This role will manage our GTM tech stack which includes Salesforce, HubSpot Marketing Hub, Clay, Gong, vibecoded solutions, and more.
What You'll Do
  • Systems and Automation: Build and maintain the systems and automations that power our revenue motion, spanning Salesforce architecture, workflow automation, data enrichment pipelines, and integrations.
  • Process/Project Management: Design and operationalize the end-to-end revenue process from lead routing and pipeline management to forecasting cadences and handoff protocols. Ensure every function in the GTM org runs with consistency and scale.
  • Analytics & Insights: Build the reporting infrastructure and dashboards that give GTM leadership clear visibility into pipeline health, funnel conversion, win/loss trends, and revenue forecasts. Translate data into decisions that improve win rates and deal velocity.

Who You Are
  • 6+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, RevTech, Sales Systems, Salesforce Development or related roles at high-growth B2B tech companies.
  • Background or strong interest in developer tools, API platforms, or AI infrastructure.

  • Builder mindset: You thrive in "zero-to-one" environments and enjoy creating durable processes from scratch.

How We Work:
  • Build something worthy of love
    • Craft matters. We aim to build products and experiences customers genuinely love, not just tolerate
  • Commit and follow through

  • Why not today?
    • We value urgency and momentum. The fastest path to customer value usually wins.
  • Seek raw input
    • We go directly to customers, data, and teammates instead of relying on summaries or assumptions.
  • It's our problem
    • We operate as one team. We share credit, own mistakes together, and support each other when things get hard.
  • Be direct and kind
    • We give feedback clearly, respectfully, and without delay.

Why Vapi:
  • Generational impact: Build the human interface for every business
  • Ownership culture: 70% of the company are previous founders
  • Kind team: The founders, Jordan and Nikhil, are Canadians
  • Tier-1 Investors: YC, KP seed, Bessemer Series A

What We Offer:
  • Real stake: We offer a competitive salary and excellent equity ownership
  • Comprehensive health coverage: medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Team love: We love hanging out, and we do quarterly off-sites
  • Flexible time off: take what you need
  • More: catered meals, transportation, gym, and a $10k annual L&D budget
