Join a collaborative drafting team in Indianapolis as a Structural CAD/Revit Technician, supporting engineers by developing detailed structural models and drawings for a wide range of building projects. You will work closely with an experienced Lead CAD/Revit Technician and project engineers, translating design specifications into high-quality construction documents for industrial, educational, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, commercial, agriculture, food and beverage, and utilities projects. Depending on project size and scope, you will contribute to multiple projects each week and play a key role in delivering accurate, coordinated, and constructible design documentation.

  • Ability to accurately interpret and incorporate engineer markups, redlines, and design changes into project documentation.
  • Strong understanding of structural design and construction documentation processes.
  • Experience working within BIM environments and adhering to BIM standards and workflows.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing complete, accurate, and coordinated drawings.
  • Effective collaboration skills for working with engineers, architects, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with AutoCAD for structural or building design documentation.
  • Experience or coursework in structural engineering or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis concepts and their application in design documentation.
  • Exposure to industrial, educational, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, commercial, agriculture, food and beverage, or utilities projects.
  • Interest in contributing to the development and refinement of BIM standards, families, templates, and workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to varying project sizes and scopes.
