You have a variety of responsibilities, including making site visits, checking the initial appraisal reports, meeting with property owners or developers, and gathering information relevant to making a final appraisal. Appraisal reviewers are often needed when a mortgage lending company believes the buyer possesses increased financial risk and the lender seeks to only finance a given percentage of a home or commercial property’s value.
