About the Role
The Revenue Optimization Manager will provide actionable reporting of data, analytics and insights to support key sales objectives and drive our channel strategy. You will use data to support recommendations and outline key risks and opportunities. This position requires a high level of collaboration across all internal groups to determine how we can focus, streamline, and improve efficiencies throughout the business.
Responsibilities include:
  • Achieve sales and profit results, while driving to the Channel Strategy objectives through the following.
  • Review ongoing market trends and analysis to support and determine actions that support overall channel strategy.
  • Analyze key trends to determine how to optimize assortments and improve efficiencies.
  • Prepare presentations and reports to disseminate data to support key decision making.
  • Market size modeling.
  • Financial modeling.
  • Work with appropriate project leads on the development and execution of commercial terms. Enable and enforce the "pay for performance" model.
  • Work closely with partners in finance, demand planning, service and sales to support the development of revised commercial terms.
  • Align commercial terms to Dysons channel and financial objectives.
  • Work with National Account Sell-In team to measure and manage tracking of distribution, shelving, promotional, and merchandising activities. Leverage a variety of tools including regular one-on-one engagement with National Sales Account Sell-In team and Sales Directors
  • Identify gaps to budget in either distribution, shelving or promotion, and escalate to Sr. Channel Manager for Account/Channel level resolution.
  • Execute special projects as defined by Sr. Channel or Director Channel Management, as required.
  • Serve as an active and high performing member of the team.
  • Be able to challenge self and others in accepting the norm, while working towards best practices.
  • Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role.
  • Think outside of the box, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify problems and find solutions.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst role required.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A high level of proficiency in the use of spreadsheets - the ability to quickly understand business scenarios and model them is critical.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with retail analytics.
  • Experience working with a sales function preferred.

Compensation: $135,200 - $169,000 + annual bonus opportunity
