This position is based out of either Addison, TX, or Irvine, CA.

If you have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 4+ years of hospitality experience, as well as 1+ year of revenue management experience in the hospitality industry, and you spend your day strategizing, knowing that every decision you make has a revenue impact then this may be the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor revenue performance statistics and compare revenue outcomes with the budget and forecast for each hotel, within a portfolio, typically 8-12 hotels
  • Complete a quantitative analysis of each hotel's performance based on ad hoc reporting and strategies currently in place
  • Facilitate weekly revenue strategy meetings with crucial hotel team members in order to present findings and maximize RevPAR performance
  • Analyze end-of-month reports and critique prior strategies to ensure correct strategies are in place for future time periods
  • Validate each hotel’s pricing and distribution inventory across third-party channels to maximize revenue
  • Monitor performance of all special rate offerings including promotional discounts, package plans, loyalty programs, etc.
  • Understand competitive benchmarking, strategic pricing, demand forecasting, business mix manipulation, and distribution channel management all under ever changing supply and demand conditions
  • Assist in developing, implementing, monitoring, and controlling annual room revenue budget and forecast as well as marketing plans to assist in meeting and exceeding overall hotel goals
  • Work with brand Hotel Opening Team to develop strategy, build property database, and all administrative pre-opening work maintaining brand required timelines for all areas
  • Work closely with and train General Managers and Hotel Sales Leaders in revenue management strategies and techniques
  • Support Greens Corporate Team Members in holding hotel team members accountable as well as the implementation of cross-departmental initiatives and projects
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with Greens revenue management policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive and professional work environment, as well as ensure the development of and adherence to Greens revenue management policies, protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures

Primary Functions

  • Monitor competitive set, market pricing, strategies, and modify strategy based on analysis of data
  • Maximize revenues and profit through rate and inventory management at each hotel
  • Manage inventory and rates in GDS, PMS, booking engine, and OTAs.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, track, and regularly align Greens’ sales strategies and regularly publish data and outcomes
  • Monitor revenue performance statistics and compare revenue outcomes with budgets, other Greens managed hotels performances, and industry averages
  • Identify seasonal and daily demand patterns, including but not limited to Special Events, and Convention dates
  • Ensure that appropriate action is implemented to ensure that the hotel maximizes revenue opportunity
  • Conduct ongoing competitor price, and product analysis to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to the competition

The ideal candidate will:

  • Review performance and pickup to send a daily strategy email to key stakeholders
  • Coordinate and communicate with Greens corporate and hotel teams on performance, recommendations, as well as status of tasks, requests, and projects.
  • Conduct thorough weekly revenue management meetings with individual hotels
  • Participate in and provide support to the Greens Corporate leadership team when reviewing revenue outcomes, progress, and accountability.
  • Track revenue performance standards for each hotel, including, but not limited to, occupancy percentage, ADR, and RevPAR.

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4+ years of hotel experience
  • 1+ year(s) of prior Revenue Management experience within the hospitality industry
  • Experience with Revenue Management systems and industry-related reports is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills are essential
  • Ability to run, analyze, understand, create an action plan, and present ad hoc reporting
  • Technologically inclined, including having strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Willing to take responsibility and accountability for the team

  • Willing to work on weekends and holidays (As needed for property emergencies)
