What You'll Do
Provide strategic support to the Area Director of Revenue, General Managers, and Sales & Marketing team through strategic business insight, creative thought processes and the ability to quickly comprehend and dissect business trends. In addition to optimizing revenue and market share goals, it's critical to be able to develop a dynamic, proactive culture to optimally support revenue and brand loyalty through effective forecasting, pricing strategy, content management and distribution channel management.
Some of your responsibilities include:
  • Financial:
    • Review DSR report from Accounting; evaluate adjustments, complimentary rooms, no-show revenue capture etc.
  • Rate & Inventory Management:
    • Load any promotional rates as directed by Area Director of Revenue or DORM.
    • Monitor week of inventory and rate strategy
    • Implement rate strategy/restriction changes provided by the ADORM
    • Review Group DBR's with ADORM/DOSM
    • Ensure parity across channels and work with Distribution on any opportunities
  • Forecasting:
    • Prepare weekly ownership forecasts for ADORM
    • Prepare monthly P+L forecasts for ADORM
    • Prepare and distribute weekly 14 day forecasts for the Hotel Operations team.
  • Reporting:
    • Complete and Submit Weekly/Monthly Ownership reports
    • Prepare daily/weekly pick-up reports
    • Prepare weekly revenue meeting powerpoint presentation
    • Maintain STR. Submit property occupancy, ADR and revenue statistics by market segment into DaySTAR extranet.
    • Complete weekly STAR report analysis
    • Assist/complete in ad hoc reporting as requested
  • Meetings:
    • Attend bi-monthly Hotel Revenue Management & Distribution team call with Home Office.
    • Attend weekly revenue meeting.
    • Join a partner meeting with DORs (TravelCLICK, Expedia, Booking.com, etc. when necessary) and attend Reservation/distribution communication meeting

What You Bring
  • 2+ years' experience in Reservations, Front Office, Sales, or Revenue Management. Previous Revenue Management in Hotels preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and experience with interpreting data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Well organized and detail oriented, with a high sense of accountability and integrity.
  • Ambitious with high initiative and results-oriented.
