Job description

Smart Media Group is a premier media analytics, planning and buying agency headquartered in Alexandria, VA. Our experience includes all platforms and levels of media from national network campaigns to local event marketing.
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Data Team and Account Executives. This role will support clients and Account Executives through the creation and delivery of in-depth media analyses. 

RESPONSIBILITIES : 

  • Answer client requests in conjunction with the Account Executive. 
  • Utilize Tableau as a data visualization tool to produce various types of recurring memos for executives. 
  • Conduct research concerning various politically related topics and groups especially spending across elections, advertisers, markets, and media across the country. 
  • Assist with the creation of presentations using a combination of Tableau, PowerPoint and other proprietary tools. 
  • Collaborate with the full data analytics team to identify trends in client feedback to enhance future deliverables. 
  • Help relay media buying information for clean and efficient consolidation in our proprietary database. 
  • Be proactive in quality controlling client media spending to ensure all proprietary data tools are reflecting client data correctly.  
  • Engage in reconciling campaign accounts upon completion. 
  • Adapt workflow between client-centric election cycles (even years) and research/sales oriented projects (odd years).
