Job description

IN SUMMARY...

As an RCM Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic partner to our customers, leveraging your expertise in Revenue Cycle Management to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and overall account health. You will act as a liaison between our customers and the RCM team, ensuring proactive communication, problem resolution, and data-driven recommendations that optimize revenue and reduce risk. Your goal is to strengthen customer relationships, assist with RCM outcomes, and support retention and growth initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...

Customer Partnership & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing communications and establishing regular touchpoints.
  • Conduct business reviews and operational check-ins with customers to provide insight into revenue cycle performance and opportunities.
  • Identify at-risk accounts and proactively mitigate potential revenue loss or churn.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address escalated customer concerns and implement corrective action plans.
  • Support contract renewals and identify opportunities for additional services that align with customer goals.

Revenue Cycle & Financial Performance

  • Monitor account health using the RCM Healthscore and other operational and financial metrics.
  • Analyze trends in revenue cycle operations, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable strategies.
  • Assist customers in optimizing their revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, denials, and reporting.
  • Provide month-end financial reporting, highlighting key findings and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with internal RCM leaders to resolve aberrant trends, billing issues, and operational challenges.

Onboarding, Training & Optimization

  • Participate in new customer onboarding to ensure successful implementation of RCM workflows and processes.
  • Educate customers on interpreting and acting upon RCM Healthscore metrics to maximize revenue performance.
  • Serve as a resource for ongoing process optimization, helping customers align their workflows with best practices.

BACKGROUND AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING...

  • Proven experience in Revenue Cycle Management, with strong understanding of healthcare billing, collections, denials, and A/R processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable interpreting financial and operational data to drive actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on operational excellence and revenue outcomes.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
