Summary:
UNC Health is seeking an experienced Epic Resolute Certified Analyst to support our Community Connect program. This role supports external partner clinics using UNC Health's Epic platform, with a focus on professional billing (PB), claims management, and end-to-end revenue cycle workflows, with strong alignment to ambulatory operations.

Location: Morrisville, NC (Hybrid: Remote & Onsite)ย 

Team: Community Connect | UNC Health ISDย 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and support Epicย Resolute (Professional Billing & Claims)ย functionalityย 
  • Maintain billing rules,ย including charge routing, claim edits, payer setup, and workqueuesย 
  • Supportย charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, denials, and A/R workflowsย 
  • Troubleshoot billing and claims issues, includingย rejections, denials, and workflow gapsย 
  • Partner withย revenue cycle, coding, and operational teams to optimize workflows and reduce revenue leakageย 
  • Supportย requirements gathering, testing, go-lives, and system enhancementsย 
  • Provideย onsite clinic support, including workflow analysis and optimizationย 
  • Ensureย data integrity, compliance, and reporting support for revenue cycle performanceย 

Preferred Qualifications:ย 

  • Epicย Resolute Certification (Professional Billing)ย (active)ย 
  • 3+ years of Epic Resolute experience in a healthcare environmentย 
  • Strong knowledge ofย billing, claims processing, and revenue cycle operationsย 
  • Experience withย claim edits, denials management, and A/R follow-up workflowsย 
  • Ability to travel to clinics for onsite supportย 
  • Experience withย Community Connect or multi-site environmentsย 
  • Experience withย workqueues, claim scrubbing, and payer/plan buildย 
  • Understanding ofย ambulatory (PB) workflows and integrations with Cadence/Preludeย 
  • Experience supportingย go-lives, testing (UAT), and workflow optimization initiativesย 

Other Information

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
If a Bachelor's degree: Four (4) years of experience with IT systems and/or related operational experience.
If an Associate's degree: Six (6) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience.
If a High School diploma or GED: Eight (8) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

  • Epic Resolute Certification (Professional Billing)ย (active)ย 
  • 3+ years of Epic Resolute experience in a healthcare environmentย 
  • Strong knowledge ofย billing, claims processing, and revenue cycle operations
  • Experience withย claim edits, denials management, and A/R follow-up workflowsย 
  • Ability to travel to clinics for onsite supportย 
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Highly responsive to internal customers.
