Job description

Revenue Accountant
Location: Houston, TX (106 Vintage Park Blvd., Suite 100)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience

WhiteWater Express is a growing, multi-location company built on respect, communication, and developing great people. We're looking for a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to support revenue reporting, reconciliations, accounts receivable, and month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile daily and weekly revenue across multiple point-of-sale systems
  • Perform bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations
  • Monitor membership revenue reporting and investigate discrepancies
  • Support accounts receivable invoicing and customer account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end close, accruals, deferred revenue, and financial reporting
  • Analyze revenue trends and support process improvements
  • Partner with Operations, IT, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Support both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or reconciliation experience
  • Experience with bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Understanding of accrual-based accounting
  • Experience with general ledger and bank account reconciliations
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on internal customer service
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in a retail, service, or multi-location business environment
  • Revenue accounting or cash management experience
