Job description

Job Title: Returns Associate (Warehouse)
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00/hour
Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
This position will remain open until 6/26/2026, or until the position is filled, whichever is later.
Brief Position Summary:
Ensure customer satisfaction through handling of product returns and exchanges. Responsible for the handling, inspection, receipt, and potential disposal of returned product while actively seeking to improve processes, increase efficiency and maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Primary:
  • Communicate directly with customers to process returning product and create returns paperwork to capture customer signature
  • Verify customer's reason for return, inspect, receive product back into inventory, and put away
  • Work with Returns supervisor to determine if product should be received and put back into inventory, returned to Vendor, or disposed of using proper coding
  • Manually process returns using Rampart's standard form and provide write-up to either the Vendor Returns Associate or the Returns Supervisor for Return Merchandise (RM) order creation
  • Operate in accordance with Rampart's established systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment by complying with Rampart's safety program

As Required:
  • Aid other departments in the warehouse
  • Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

Education, Skills, Training, & Experience Requirements:
  • Forklift certification
  • Product knowledge to include basic product code and how to identify products without labels or barcodes

Physical Requirements:
  • Continuously (67-100% of the day) will be required to talk, write, repetitively use hands, arms, and legs, stand, walk, bend over, push or pull, grasp, and carry, move or lift 1-50lbs
  • Frequently (34-66% of the day) will be required to reach overhead, crouch, or kneel
  • Occasionally (1-33% of the day) will be required to sit, crawl, climb, balance, and carry, move, or lift 51-100+ lbs
