Aquent is partnering with a leading luxury retail brand to identify a Photo & Retouching Equipment Manager for an on-site contract opportunity. This role supports the photography and post-production teams by managing equipment, imaging infrastructure, studio technology, and operational workflows that enable world-class visual content creation. This engagement begins as a one-month contract with the possibility of extending into a longer-term contract opportunity for the right person.
What You'll Do
  • Manage photography, imaging, and retouching equipment inventories
  • Maintain equipment checkout and tracking systems
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and replacement cycles
  • Support studio productions and location shoots
  • Oversee retouching workstations and artist hardware
  • Maintain color management and monitor calibration standards
  • Partner with IT on storage, backup, and workflow performance
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions
  • Manage equipment purchasing and vendor relationships
  • Develop SOPs, training materials, and technical documentation

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years managing photography, imaging, or creative production equipment
  • Deep knowledge of professional camera systems and studio equipment
  • Experience supporting high-end retouching environments
