The Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our Omaha office. In this critical role, you will support our soy processing group by managing key accounting tasks and working closely with our merchandisers. This role offers a pathway for professional growth, and depending on your experience, you may qualify for the Senior Accounting Associate position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with merchandisers to prepare daily invoices accurately and efficiently.

  • Reconcile discrepancies to prepare accurate daily balance sheets.

  • Enter and reconcile daily contracts from merchandisers.

  • Effectively communicate with management, co-workers, customers, and external business contacts.

  • Provide ad hoc support and perform other duties as assigned by management.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree preferred).

  • Prior accounting and clerical experience preferred (required for the Senior Associate level).

  • Strong understanding of accounting practices, terminology, and mathematical principles.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products, experience with Oracle preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
