Retirement Plan Manager

As a Retirement Plan Manager, you'll play a central role in helping retirement plan and wealth clients achieve their financial goals while ensuring a seamless service experience. This position combines client relationship management, retirement plan operations, compliance oversight, and strategic coordination to deliver high-quality retirement solutions and support long-term business growth.
You'll partner closely with advisors, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure retirement plans are administered accurately and efficiently. Your expertise will help drive operational consistency, strengthen client relationships, and identify opportunities to enhance service offerings across the retirement and wealth platform.
Work Arrangement
This is a full-time remote position reporting to our Omaha, Nebraska office.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead day-to-day administration and service delivery for retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), 457(b), and 414(h) plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for retirement plan and individual wealth clients, providing responsive, knowledgeable support.
  • Coordinate client meetings, reviews, and ongoing service activities while maintaining accurate records and documentation within CRM systems.
  • Deliver participant education sessions that help individuals better understand retirement planning, investment options, and risk considerations.
  • Ensure plans remain compliant with applicable regulations through effective coordination with vendors, broker/dealers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor key operational and client service metrics, using insights to improve processes and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Partner with advisors and internal teams to ensure consistent execution, effective communication, and high-quality client outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen retirement service offerings and support continued business growth.

  • Active Nebraska Life & Health Insurance License.
  • Series 6 or Series 7 license and Series 63, 65, or 66 licensing.
  • Strong knowledge of retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), 457(b), and 414(h).
  • Experience using CRM platforms, with Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong client relationships.
