MBL Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a multi-workstream Privacy and Information Assurance program supporting a federal client. This individual will provide strategic leadership, technical guidance, and program management expertise to ensure successful delivery of privacy, cybersecurity, and information assurance initiatives.


The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with extensive experience managing complex federal contracts and cross-functional teams. They will serve as a trusted advisor to the client, driving innovative solutions, maintaining program excellence, and ensuring compliance with federal privacy, cybersecurity, and information assurance requirements.


The Project Manager will oversee multiple workstreams, engage with technical and business stakeholders, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and ensure high-quality deliverables that support mission success.

Hybrid. Remote and Onsite in Washington D.C., Rockville, MD


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a multi-workstream privacy and information assurance program.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on federal privacy, data protection, information assurance, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and/or trusted advisor to clients on privacy and data protection. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership on privacy compliance, security requirements, risk management, and modernization initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to manage program priorities, deliverables, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
  • Design and implement privacy, data protection, and compliance strategies that align with client objectives and federal regulations.
  • Lead privacy risk management activities by identifying, assessing, and mitigating privacy risks, integrating privacy-by-design principles into technology modernization efforts, and partnering with cybersecurity, legal, and business stakeholders. 
  • Serve as the senior privacy advisor to executive leadership, providing strategic guidance on privacy governance, regulatory compliance, emerging privacy risks, and program maturity while fostering a culture of privacy awareness and continuous improvement. 
  • Support organizational change management and modernization efforts while helping clients navigate evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with workstream leads to identify strategic opportunities, resolve challenges, and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of executive-level reports, presentations, metrics, dashboards, and program status updates.
  • Ensure quality control across all program deliverables by reviewing work products, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of client satisfaction.
  • Identify lessons learned and implement continuous process improvements across the program.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop staff while supporting hiring and professional development activities.
  • Successfully manage contract requirements, including Statements of Work (SOW), Labor Categories (LCATs), budgets, staffing, reporting, and overall program performance.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment while demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Required Experience Skills & Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification - required.
  • Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • 11+ years of experience managing complex, multi-workstream federal programs.
  • 5+ years of experience leading enterprise Privacy Management or Privacy Governance programs within a federal environment. 
  • Experience supporting federal privacy, information assurance, cybersecurity, or related government programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing government contracts, including SOW execution, LCAT management, budgeting, resource planning, and client reporting.
  •  Demonstrated experience implementing and managing Privacy Management frameworks, governance models, and compliance programs. 
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems, think strategically, and lead teams through changing priorities.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with federal clients and executive leadership.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative with a "can-do" attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
  •  Industry privacy certification (CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, or CISSP) preferred.
