Title I Teacher/Special Education Teacher:
Growing private school in Rochester, NY seeking Title I Intervention Specialist/Teacher. We are looking to hire a qualified, certified teacher to provide direct, small group instruction to academically at-risk students in grades K – 4.
Applicants should be excited about supporting students’ academic achievement, and providing individualized learning to students with a range of academic needs and learning styles.
Job Responsibilities: The Title I Intervention teacher will…
• Provide reading and/or math instruction in small groups sessions for at-risk students.
• Support the student assessment process and analyze data.
• Provide individualized and small group instruction based on identified academic weaknesses.
• Communicate regularly with classroom teachers at the school.
• Responsibly complete administrative duties including keeping timesheets, tracking sessions, submitting lesson plans, etc.
• Have paid prep. time so all work can be completed during work hours.
• Participate in school professional development that is provided on topics including pedagogy, classroom management, differentiation, social-emotional learning, and other education related themes.
