IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Oracle Software Engineer to join our customer in Phoenix, AZ. This is an ONSITE position. The Technology Services Division of Our Client is seeking an experienced Oracle Software Engineer to fill one consultant position. Our Client provides a challenging and rewarding environment utilizing state of the art technologies and tools. Our Client's applications are web-based, image and workflow-enabled and support a broad range of Our Client's activities for both active and retired members.

Job Description

-Maintain existing Oracle Forms and Reports applications
-Work on production support and trouble shoot production issues.
-Develop SQL, PL/SQL scripts for data analysis and data cleanup as needed.
-Work with other Software Engineers in identifying and resolving application issues.
-Work with Project Managers to provide estimate of effort for work and progress of worker
-Work with Business Analysts and business users to understand problems, enhancements and data changes requested.
-Work with Quality Assurance and Release Coordinator to transition changes made from development to system test and to production.
-Use incident tracking system JIRA to document changes made and progress
-Use software version control SVN to track code changes.
-Attend status meetings as required 

Qualifications


-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (minimum 3 years experience in Information Technology)
-Minimum 3 years experience in Web deployed Oracle Forms and Reports development
-Minimum 3 years experience using Oracle databases
-Minimum 3 years experience in writing PL/SQL
-Minimum 3 years experience using software development methodologies to perform analysis, design, construction and implementation of custom software
