We are currently seeking Retina Technicians to support our advanced retina specialists and help deliver outstanding care to patients across the Kansas City area. If you are detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, we'd love to meet you.


Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm
No nights. No weekends. Travel to other clinics is required

What You'll Do

As a Retina Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient clinic flow and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing comprehensive patient workups (medical history, visual acuity, intraocular pressure, etc.)
     
  • Accurately scribing for physicians and maintaining detailed documentation in EMR systems
     
  • Conducting diagnostic testing, including OCT, visual fields, lensometry, and angiography
     
  • Assisting with retina-specific procedures such as intravitreal injections, lasers, and minor in-office procedures
     
  • Supporting physicians and clinical staff to maintain smooth patient flow and high-quality service 

Requirements


What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required  
  • Strong computer skills and comfort working in EMR systems  
  • Previous ophthalmology or healthcare experience preferred, but not required  
  • COA or COT certification preferred (we will consider motivated candidates seeking certification)  
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail  
  • Compassionate, patient-centered mindset with strong communication skills
