Clinical Director

Skillful Steps ABA is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and values-aligned Clinical Director to lead and support our growing team of BCBAs and Behavior Technicians. As a clinician-led organization, we are committed to affirming, trauma-informed care that is child-led and assent-based. What You'll Do as Clinical Director
  • Oversee and support a team of BCBAs and Behavior Technicians across multiple client caseloads

  • Lead clinical quality initiatives, ensuring adherence to modern, trauma-informed, assent-based ABA practices

  • Conduct regular clinical audits and performance reviews

  • Provide clinical mentorship and training for BCBAs, including onboarding and ongoing development

  • Maintain a reduced caseload for high-level clinical oversight and modeling best practices

  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and therapists

  • Support and guide the recruitment and hiring process for clinical roles

  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices

  • Ensure fidelity of treatment and supervise use of Rethink Behavioral Health data collection

  • Coordinate continuing education opportunities and promote professional development

  • Deliver ongoing caregiver coaching, oversight of assessments, and treatment planning when needed

Qualifications
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing

  • 2+ years of experience as a BCBA, including supervisory or leadership roles

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and mentorship abilities

  • Experience managing remote and in-person teams
