Position Summary
The Membership Sales Associate provides prospective and current members with a complete overview of the club experience by presenting membership options, programs, and services designed to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. This position plays a key role in membership growth, retention, and revenue generation through relationship-building, lead generation, community outreach, and exceptional customer service.
The Membership Sales Associate promotes the club's comprehensive range of programs and services, including fitness, wellness, and member engagement offerings. This role also supports marketing initiatives through newsletters, direct mail campaigns, promotional events, and off-site community outreach activities such as health fairs and corporate events.
The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, organized, and motivated by helping people improve their lives through fitness and wellness.
Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell memberships by educating prospective members on club benefits, pricing, programs, and services
  • Conduct tours for prospective members and provide a welcoming, informative, and professional experience
  • Build relationships with prospects and members to support long-term retention and member satisfaction
  • Educate members and the public on available club programs, services, and events to increase participation and engagement
  • Assist in the development and execution of membership sales and retention campaigns
  • Follow up with prospective members through phone calls, email, and text communication
  • Maintain accurate membership records and ensure all required documentation is completed in compliance with company policies and procedures
